Upon completion of this four week course participants will better be able to incorporate Apple's iPad into current and future instruction and will define the role the iPad plays in educational communities. Educators will become skilled using the iPad and learn to leverage its functionalities and capabilities as an engaging educational tool. The course will explore numerous built-in iOS applications, as well as third-party applications, that can augment the educational experience of students in tandem with sound pedagogical approaches.

Participants will receive clear guidance on incorporating iPad use into educational experiences through engaging walk-through tutorials and supplemental materials.

This course is aligned to ISTE's NETS for Teachers (NETS-T), which are the standards for evaluating the skills and knowledge educators need to teach, work, and learn in an increasingly connected global and digital society.
#1. Design and Develop Digital Age Learning Experiences and Assessments
Teachers design, develop, and evaluate authentic learning experiences and assessment incorporating contemporary tools and resources to maximize content learning in context and to develop the knowledge, skills, and attitudes identified in the NETS·S.
